Our Philosophy
Care is not one-size-fits-all.
At D Stars Aligned, we believe meaningful care honors the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—while remaining grounded in ethical practice, education, and collaboration. We value preparation over urgency, presence over pressure, and trust built through relationship.
Our approach centers nervous-system regulation, continuity of care, and culturally responsive support—creating experiences that help families feel informed, empowered, and held.

Evidence Based Care
D Stars Aligned is rooted in equity, representation, and community connection. We are committed to supporting families who have been historically underserved in maternal wellness spaces and to addressing disparities through education, advocacy, and culturally responsive support.
This work extends beyond individual care. By strengthening families and increasing access to knowledge and preparation, we contribute to healthier outcomes and more resilient communities.

Sustainable Midwifery
At D Stars Aligned, we believe midwifery care should be joyful, relational, and long-lasting — for families and for the midwives who serve them.
Midwifery is one of the most rewarding professions, and it is also deeply demanding. We believe that to offer the highest quality care, midwives must be present, well-rested, and supported, just as we ask our clients to be present and supported throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
That’s why our sustainable midwifery model is built on principles that benefit both families and care providers:
• Team-Centered Care: No one should attend a birth or provide prenatal/postpartum support alone every time. Our model ensures that there is always a midwife available who is rested, focused, and attentive — not coming off a long shift or holding back exhaustion.
• Continuity and Clarity: Your midwife will be available for your scheduled prenatal and postpartum care even when another team member is attending a birth. You will meet your back-up provider ahead of time so you feel familiar and confident in your care team.
• Presence Over Pressure: We are committed to care that prioritizes presence and relationship over speed or urgency. A midwife who is calm, clear-minded, and emotionally regulated offers safer, more coherent support.
• Longevity of Practice: We want our midwives to be in practice for decades, not just seasons. Sustainable midwifery means honoring boundaries, rest, collaboration, and ongoing growth — not burn-out by default. This model ensures that your care is provided by buoyed, healthy caregivers — and that we, as midwives, can continue to serve families with integrity, energy, and intention for years to come.
Our History
D Stars Aligned was born from a vision that began long before midwifery care entered the birth space. The foundation was first established through Bella DaVinci Beauty, a wellness-centered business created to help individuals reconnect with confidence, restoration, and self-care through holistic beauty and body services. What began as a space focused on outward renewal quickly evolved into something deeper — supporting people through life transitions that required not only care, but presence, education, and trust.
Over time, that work naturally expanded into perinatal wellness, postpartum recovery, and hands-on family support. Serving women and families during vulnerable and transformative seasons revealed a growing need for comprehensive, relationship-centered maternity care within the community.
D Stars Aligned emerged as the next evolution of that mission — integrating clinical midwifery care with holistic wellness and restorative services. Today, the practice reflects a full-circle approach that honors birth as both a physiological process and a profound life experience, providing families with safe, evidence-based care grounded in compassion, education, and continuity of support.
